Terms of entry

These terms apply to every entry made through this site. They are read together with the page of the call you enter, which states the fee, dates and prizes for that call.

Last updated 20 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Perennius is operated by PodoAI Limited Liability Company, Republic of Korea (“we”). Questions: hello@perennius.art. Our registered details are in the footer of every page.

2. Who may enter

  • Anyone aged 18 or over, of any nationality, living anywhere.
  • People involved in running or judging Perennius may not enter.
  • Each artist enters once per call, with up to 5 works. Collaborative works may be entered with all collaborators named.

3. What an entry is

You complete the entry form and pay at its last step. An entry exists only once payment has gone through; a form that has not been paid is not an entry and is not reviewed. After payment we send a confirmation email to the address you gave. Entries cannot be edited after payment; write to us if something needs correcting.

4. Fees and payment

  • US$20 for the first work (US$15 until 30 November 2026); US$6 for each additional work; up to 5 works per artist.
  • Fees are in US dollars. The amount is calculated by our server from the works in your entry and shown before you pay.
  • Payment is taken by PayPal, by PayPal account or card. We do not see or store your card details.
  • Taxes and any bank or card charges that apply to you are yours.

5. Refunds

Ask by email to hello@perennius.art at any time before the deadline and the fee is refunded in full, to the payment method used; the entry is then withdrawn. After the deadline judging has begun and fees are not refunded. Refunds are made by hand, normally within 7 days of the request.

6. Dates

Entries open 16 November 2026 and close 31 December 2026 at 23:59 UTC. Results are published on 28 January 2027; on that day every entrant receives an email with a link to the results. See the call for the current schedule.

7. Images and information

  • JPG or PNG, longest side at least 1600 px, up to 10 MB each, one main image per work. Sculpture & installation and textile & mixed media works may add up to two detail views.
  • Show the whole work, straight on, with no frame, wall, watermark or added text.
  • You must give, for each work, the title, year, medium, category, dimensions, a statement of up to 100 words, and whether AI tools were used and how.
  • You confirm that the information you give is true and that you are the author of the works.

8. Selection

Works are reviewed by the Perennius director. The director’s decision is final. There are no reviewer comments, scores or grades, and we do not publish the total number of entries. Prizes are awarded across all categories together. Each artist may receive only one prize, however many of their works are selected.

9. Rights

  • Copyright stays with you. We claim no ownership of any submitted work.
  • By entering you grant Perennius a non-exclusive licence to reproduce selected works online and in materials that announce or document the exhibition. The licence does not extend to sale, merchandise, or unrelated promotion.
  • You confirm that you hold the rights needed to submit each work and to grant this licence, and that the work does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
  • The page of selected artists and the exhibition page are permanent, so that a selection can be cited in a CV. You may ask us to replace or withdraw an image; the name entry remains.
  • Works that are not selected are deleted from our systems within 60 days of the announcement.

10. AI-generated work

Works made wholly or partly with generative AI tools are eligible but must be declared on the entry form, naming the tools. Declared works are labelled as AI-assisted on the exhibition page. An undeclared AI-generated work that is later identified is removed and the entry fee is forfeited.

11. Prizes

  • First Prize — US$150

Prize money is paid by us to the winner after the announcement, by a method agreed with the winner; the winner is responsible for any tax on it.

12. Our responsibility

We take reasonable care of your files and information. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our control, such as failures of internet, payment or email services. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that applies to you and cannot be limited.

13. Changes and governing law

We may correct these terms; the version in force when you pay applies to your entry. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without taking away any mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live.
